Production Design
Working together on production design means you are adding someone to the conversation that works to ensure every element of the program is speaking with a unified voice. This zoomed-out approach can help make sure the props fit with the flag designs and the costumes, those elements match the music, and the whole production fits within the theme. Having someone to take care of all of the tiny details that go in to a great show frees up the directors and staff to focus on the students. So while you’re getting the impact chord at the end of the ballad perfectly in tune, there is someone else making sure the shade of red being painted on the props is the exact same shade on the shoulder of the colorguard costume and on the ballad flag.
Reach your goals.
A show can be great for many reasons. Does your group thrive on the excited cheers of the audience? Maybe you want to make them feel something? Or maybe you have a message to send? Whatever the goal program coordination and solid production design are the way to reach it.
